The Netherlands alone has roughly 280,000 kilometres of cables below the ground. Cable which is used for distributing electricity and signals. Reinforced paper lead cable (RPLC) and oil pressure cable (OP) are two examples of ground cables. These ground cables can contain aluminium or copper cores.
Although, in today’s world, synthetically isolated cables are almost exclusively used as ground cables, a great deal of previously installed RPLCs will be resurfacing in the coming years.
Interbaro Recycling is specialised in the processing of ground cable. We have all the necessary equipment, certification and licensing to process this type of cable. Thousands of tons of ground cables from the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Austria and Switzerland are already being processed with us.
